perspective
• We lack racial diversity on the Board
• We can/will incentivize action team leaders
to identify and execute action plans centered
on racial inequity with goal to increase
opportunity for school success for children in
minority groups
• Encourage(d) ATLs to put on a "racial equity
lens" when thinking about and executing the
work of the action teams
• Need for more open communication
regarding ATL stipends/budgets

12. Potential actions and
questions
•Can we/should we increase diversity of Boards
•Can we/should we adopt a mission that explicitly
includes racial equity as a key component and amend
website accordingly
•What are some additional ideas/strategies to aid ATLs
in adopting the racial equity lens
•Other questions we should be considering
