1. Prop List
The Shower Scene:
We were planning to have the girl sitting below a
shower. We thought a wet room would be suitable as
she can move around or lie down. We can experiment
with the space.
We may use fake blood, indicating the girl having a nose
bleed. We also want to show the blood going down the
drain in the shower.
The Parents:
We were planning to have the argument with her and her parents in a kitchen or
kitchen table. Therefore we need;
We need the dining table for the girl and her parents to sit
on and start an argument. We want a homely environment
because this is a scenario people can relate to.
Having objects such as candles or fruit bowls on the
table will have the use of being thrown around by the
parents and girl whilst they are arguing. This will
make it seem more of an aggressive argument.
2. The Boyfriend:
We were planning to show another argument between her and her boyfriend, in a
bedroom. Props we may use in the bedroom are;
The bed is for the couple to sit/lay on. We chose a
bedroom as this also something people can relate to.
The bedroom is also a common place for couples to
argue as they spend most of their time in their.
We wanted to have candles to make the room look more
romantic; however we don’t want it to look seductive as they
are having an argument. Therefore we may have the candles
but have them unlit, to represent the ‘emptiness’ and ‘coldness’
of their relationship. The unlit candles can also represent the
disappearance of ‘heat’ in their relationship.
The dressing table in the room could be an area where
the girl can sit whilst they are arguing, or can be where
the artist sings, whilst watching the argument.
The Friends:
We thought the girl should wear scarf and gloves, as
she would be outside with her friends for example in
a park. Therefore no further props needed.
