MANAGE OWNER
INTERPRETATION
Since more than 90% of the schools
are managed by principals this
means that the owners view opening
a school as a business model rather
than opening a school with an
interest to impart quality education.
Owner has the responsibility of
future of thousands of students in
their hands.

INTERPRETATION
75% Principals say they have

they have partly or no decision
taking power, but what I feel is in a
business model the ultimate decision
taking power rests in the hands of
the owner. This validates the 25%.
Principals have so many
Responsibilities, so in order to
accomplish the tasks they should
have equivalent authority also.

67% of the principals say they take
classes of subjects such as social
science, mathematics, science etc.
Whereas what we feel is that they
should take more interest in taking
general counselling classes, interacting
with students as well as personality
development classes since they have
experience in wide variety of fields,
that can be of great value to a budding
student’s life.

INTERPRETATION
• Most of them say that personal interaction by any means i.e. P.T.M.
or anything is the best way for feedback from parents. But this is
hardly practiced in real life situations. The forms for PTM are not
properly utilised and thus there is wide scope of improvement that
can be done into this process.

SWOT ANALYSIS
156
Kota holds a prominent status among surrounding towns in
education field. Hence Student strength is always good.
City of IIT ians
Huge aspirations among Parents and Students to achieve
the best education.
Subjects other than
Science and Maths are
not valued much in the
school hence it creates a
gap in developing
overall knowledge.
Lack of Uniformity in fee
structure, irrespective of
the economic condition
or affordability of a
student.
Decisions are highly
centralized. Student’s
concern and views
should also be
considered.
Lack in quality of
Faculties in schools.
Research reveals
some 27% of the
school follows
conventional ways
of teaching.
Teachers don’t
focus on
languages, to
make student
more competitive.
Foreign languages
are not educated
in most of the
schools, as per
research done.
Booming Coaching
industry in city can
boost the quality of
Schools also.
Focused educational city in
State, hence can take benefit of
lot of Government subsidies.
Funds can be
pooled easily,
comparative
with some other
cities in State.
IIT Coaching classes are
spreading their networks in
across the countries which can
deplete the number of
students migrating to Kota.
Satellite (Online) classes can
also stop the migration in city.
Unstable policies, due to
unstable Government in State.
