5. “OXYMORON” is an interactive performing arts project which
combines dance and visual installation in trip-hop music.
The project is a collaboration among four duos, each of which is
known for their distinctive performance in popular events
around the city in DJ, VJ, hip hop dance and ballet dance.
OXYMORON represents a journey in which two opposite sides
of one's self-identity try to live together and complete each
other. On the other hand, it will reflect the way one looks at
themselves and their relationship with the world through
music, dance and visual.

7. At once art exhibition and video installation, this digital artwork
explores the fine and increasingly blurred line between reality
and the virtual world. A different dimension of time and space
could lie behind the door. Might it be Nirvana? Determining
what is real and what is not is key as the work explores how in
the digital age most urban spaces exist both off- and online,
real life relationships and virtual encounters are forever
changing and tangible and online spaces are increasingly hard
to separate. So what lies behind this door?

9. Hau Dong is a traditional rite of Vietnam. In this ritual, one
who plays the gods govern the different areas in the land
of Vietnam. In the video, I collaborated with Artist Ngoc
Nau and recorded her movements to three dimension
depth footage and transform her image to wire-frame
with connected dots. The result as you can see now is a
digital illusion of Ngoc performed Hau Dong dance. The
mix of real and unreal material ( by Hologram ) raised the
question of the existence of the old values.

11. Ownership. Zero is a commentary on the production
and experience of “real” objects in the digital age of
consumerism. A portrait of the artist exists in three
forms from conception to production: first as a digital
rendering displayed on an LED screen; second as a
hologram; and third as a 3D printed object. In this
digital landscape, nowhere is the artist’s ‘hand’involved
in the making of the work. Ownership. Zero looks at the
continually blurring line between our experience of the
virtual and physical realms.

15. When the wire-frame object breaks the space in the
middle angle of the installation, a new dimension is
formed. In this arrangement, the white strokes painted
randomly in motion follows the position of the viewer as
they enter the installation space. The line was moving
forward, like the Millennium Falcon with its“Warp Speed”
jump. The effect placed on a pre-rendered video,
description of spatial transformation - confidence - the
universe and ends with the Eye.

19. With a taste of buddhism in VJing art style, Crazy
Monkey continues to develop his concept with the aim
to transform the performance stage into a religious
milieu. On the other side Tri Minh is rediscovering his
belief in music through his experimental ambient
sound. Together in this performance, they combine
those elements and catch the factor in-between, the
midpoint.

23. My VJing performance with DJ Netik during my practice in
Springtime Delight festival - France. I start exposing the
parallelism between the AV console area of a night club
and the area of the altar in worship places. Almost always
the console is very similar to an altar, in front of the
audience, lifted respect to the dance- floor, the point from
where the collective ritual is officiated, leaded by a priest, a
performer directing the ceremony, and articulating its
sequences and timing.
