Gradual & long term accumulation of poisons (in the form of
pesticides, preservatives and other chemicals ) in the body leading to
many chronic clinical conditions with favorable climate, time, &
food.
PCOD/PCOS (Infertility Queen) is a systemic endocrine &
metabolic disorders. Affecting 10% of women of reproductive age.
Characterized by oligo/amenorrhea, hirsutism, obesity & enlarged
ovaries with multiple small cysts.
Ayurveda advocate prevention of disease by following Dinacharya,
Ritucharya, Pathya Ahar, Vihar & Aushadha and by avoiding

16. Conclusion
PCOS – common health complaint in females of reproductive age
group.
Available treatments fail to cure because toxins accumulate again
due to consumption of Hormonal therapy/Hormonal contraceptive
pills as first line of treatment in PCOS
As the above said regular treatment protocol in PCOS for prolonged
duration causes the accumulation of toxins and lead to complication
such as Type 2 Diabetes & Cardio vascular disease
Rasa and Rakta dushti occurs in pathology of visha as well as
arthava dushti w.s.r to PCOS.
The above said therapies and formulations helps in removal of
toxins thereby making the vitiated dhatus and doshas to normalcy.
Normalcy of doshas and dhatus leads to Dheerghayu.
