Renaming PTZ Presets Causes GV-System to Restart

Symptom
When the maximum number of presets for the above-mentioned PTZ cameras was set to be
more than 16 in the PTZ Device Setup dialog box (see the picture below), renaming the
presets caused GV-System to restart. However, renaming still took effect after GV-System
was restarted.

Using OBS you can control PTZOptics cameras in a couple of different ways. The most popular way is to install the free PTZOptics OBS plugin which adds some great robotic camera control features to OBS. Once installed, you can open up the plugin and control up to 8 cameras. The plugin even create specific hotkeys for calling PTZ presets and it adds the ability to control cameras with an XBox joystick. There is another way to control PTZOptics cameras with OBS called a “Dockable” interface using HTML codes available from PTZOptics. The HTML files can be used with the “Docks” feature of OBS to dock a PTZ camera controller directly into the OBS interface. You can learn more about that here.

TOMOYO Linux is a MAC (Mandatory Access Control) implementation which gives support to protect Linux systems as well as to learn, understand and analyze system behavior. Being lightweight, it results suitable for embedded systems too. This tutorial aims to show in a practical way how to make the best use of TOMOYO Linux potentials in order to study and protect embedded Linux systems, taking Android as a specific study case. Though Android is amazingly expanding its target to various kinds of devices, it was designed mainly for mobile phones. Then, unlike other embedded operating systems, it presents some peculiar characteristics which require a particular attention to apply MAC effectively. The session is directed to those who want to learn how to use TOMOYO Linux, to managers or developers interested in security concerning embedded Linux and Android, and even to anyone just wishing to take a closer glance at Android internals.

This talk presents a production-ready automotive virtualization solution with Xen. The key requirements that we focus are super-fast startup and recovery from failure, static virtual machine creation with dedicated resources, and performance effective graphics rendering. To reduce the boot time, we optimize the Xen startup procedure by effectively initializing Xen heap and VM memory, and booting multiple VMs concurrently. We provide fast recovery mechanism by re-implementing the VM reset feature. We also develop a highly optimized graphics APIs-forwarding mechanism supporting OpenGLES APIs up to v3.2. The pass rate of Khronos CTS in a guest OS is comparable to the Domain0’s. Our experiment shows that our virtualization solution provides reasonable performance for ARM-based automotive systems (hypervisor booting: less than 70ms, graphics performance: about 96% of Domain0).
