Giraffes are the tallest mammals, ranging from 14-17 feet tall. They live in savannah regions with abundant food sources, eating shoots, herbs and leaves from over 100 plant species depending on season. Giraffes have long blackish-purple tongues and are usually found in Africa, living up to 28 years while camouflaging with their markings and being able to run up to 35 mph.
