• Built on Leonard’s own significant history in the
city, and on the 6 years of successful Cohen events
we had had by that time. Tours of significant
Cohen sites, guided by singer Michael Dorsey who
lived in adjacent apartment to Sisters of Mercy.
• July 11-13, 2008. Concurrent with Street
Performer’s Festival. Performances by Serena
Ryder, Jann Arden, Tom Rush, Roddy Hart, Peter
Elkas, Darrel Scott, Yaron Hallis, Ann Vriend

• Will celebrate the 50 year anniversary of Leonard
Cohen’s pivotal five week visit to Edmonton in
1966.
• Will pick up where the 2008 event left off and
explore additional Edmonton attractions
including the Edmonton Queen Riverboat and the
Edmonton International Film Festival, which we
are partnering with in the event.
