2. Masthead Font Styles
Font Name: Broken Glass
I have chosen this font style to maybe use as my masthead for my music
magazine. I like this design as it is basic but still has a professional look. I also like
how some of the letters are eroded away giving it a rock look too it.
This font style can relate to ‘KERRANG!’ magazine as their mast head has the
same sort of effect going through some of the lettering. This connotes the
reader a rock genre as it has a angry look too it which is also associated to the
rock genre.
3. Masthead Font Styles
Font Name: Plane Crash
This is one of the font styles that I like. I believe this particular font style will
stand out to my reader. This is a easy design and I can create my own version
using Photoshop.
This font style is relate the ‘KERRANG!’ magazine as their masthead has the
white lines going through the letters. This connotes to the reader a broken look
and gives the impression of a rock genre magazine.

catch the readers eye.
5. Masthead Font Styles
Font Name: Bad Coma
This is another one of my chosen font styles. I like this style as it has the faded
letters to make it look worn and give it that broken effect that can be linked to
the rock genre.
This font style is related to KERRANG! Magazine as it has a similar font style and
layout where the letters are broken up.

Conclusion
In conclusion I am going to go with the plane crash font style. I have gone with
this because I think it gives a similar look to KERRANG! magazine which is where
I have obtained most of my inspiration from. It connotes to the audience a rock
look as it is broken together which is something the reader would associate the
rock genre to.
