quality goods & for being responsive to customer covering steel billets / ingots, rolled products, wire rods, narrow strip,
M.S Precision & Galvanized Pipes, wide width cold rolled coils, continuous annealed / galvanized steel coils and sheets
& thermal Power plants at different locations in India. It is having 6 ERW tube mills at Chandigarh unit and is having
Production capacity of over 8000 MT monthly.
Responsibilities
 To manage floor and plan to meet Production targets, keeping in view optimum safety of men, machine
and material.
 Maintain all roll sets including polishing and profiling of rolls.
 Participate in Tube mill setting & size change (roll change).
 Analysis of Production Backlog, Breakdown & there remedies.
 Keeping check and arrangement of men & material, management of resources to ensure &maximize
smooth flow of production.
 Reading of blue prints, diagram and schematic drawings to determine work procedure.
 Participate during installation, alignment and commissioning of tube mills.
 Inspect and examine equipments & machinery to detect and find irregularities and malfunctioning.
 Trouble shooting and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic system.
 Assist during repair and replacement of damage parts o machine during breakdown.
 Supervise and assist in routine maintenance jobs.
 Perform various tests like hardness test, tensile test, flattening test, drifting test, bend test to tubes.
 Assist in assembly of machinery & equipment prior to installation of machine by using power, hand
tools and welding equipment.
 Maintaining hoisting and lifting equipment like overhead cranes, jib cranes.
 Performing daily routine jobs including preventive and predictive maintenance.
 Active participation in meeting and other development programs beneficial to company and employees.
 Implement and maintain all ISO 9000:2008 documents / activities in plant.
 Maintain daily reports, logbooks / sheets and job cards.
 Prepare New Jobs order and Purchase order and keep in checks about new technology in tubes and
pipes.

 Considering Men & Machine in proper ergonomically way all Tube Mills all set up.
