6. What Is Injection Molding Used for?
Injection molding is used for
manufacturing plastic, rubber and metal.
Materials are fed through a heated barrel in
the machine and forced into a mold where
it will cool and take its shape. An injection
molding machine can stamp out metal car
shell parts, rubber valve steam seals, and
even plastic toys for kids.
7. Injection Molding in Rubber
Injection molds make many rubber
automobile parts. It makes valve steam
seals and oil seals for the engine. It also
makes earplugs, rubber hoses and
telecommunications items.
10. Sand Blasting:-
Sandblasting is a process that is
used for stripping away old paint
and rust.
In this compressed air having
abrasive particles is stricked to
material.
11. Shot Blasting:-
Shotblasting is a method used to clean,
strengthen (peen) or polish metal.
Shot blasting is used in almost every
industry that uses metal, including
aerospace, automotive, construction,
foundry, shipbuilding, rail, and many
others.
13. Phosphating:-
Phosphating is a chemical process for
treating the surface of steel whereby metal-
phosphate layers that are hardly soluble are
formed on the base material. The layers
created are porous, absorbent and are
suitable without further treatment as a
conversion layer for subsequent powder
coating. It is done in 11 tanks.
18. Die Manufacturing Section:-
A die is a specialized tool used in manufacturing
industries to cut or shape material mostly using a
press. It is made by CNC machine.
