3. Introduction to design is the most enjoyable one and also the
subject that drive me nuts.This subject help us to built up our
foundation to the preface of Architecture degree. Learn what
design is, design is not just drawing whatever you like it contain
elements and principle as well. From this subject I learnt that
everything must have a WHY.
This folder recorded and documented all the process and also work
I had done for this subject. No matter minor or major, all were my
hard work and a manifestation of myself. Is not the best of the
best but I’ll find my own style and improve it.

INSPIRATION
“ I LOVE music, drawings and also reading. I can spend hours just
drawing or reading with the accompanying of music. I would like to find
my own design style and also bringing music into my design”
“Google, Pinterest, Lecturer, Friends are all my inspiration. Different
people had different kind of thinking. They leads me to a wonderland of

“Is all about sketching. Sketching those basic components in design
element and principle, such as lines dots and so on. It was a brand
new experience to me I never tried to sketch so much before based on
what I captured and my memory”

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN
“9 simple art that shows understanding of design elements and
principles. Using those elements and principles on our daily material.
Also, we have to make those 9 artwork as a whole and form the 10th
artwork.”

“From a simple 2D drawing to a 3D model making. By using a word to
explore different kind of material with different design elements and
principles. For example, modelling board, sponge, cardboard, wire,
and plasticine.”

(IRONMAN)
“In this project we
need to choose a Lego
with strong
characteristic and
study about it through
DPJs. From those study
choose a keyword to
create your model. I
choose GENIUS for my
Iron Man Lego. In
fiction, he got his
double master while he
was 19 years old. He
create weapons and
also his own armors
too.”
19. “GENIUS is a person who displays
exceptionally superior intellectual
ability, creativity, or originality.
Genius is the combination od Left
and Right brain. So I using this
point to make my model. Left is
rigid to represent logical. Right is
random to represent rhythm.
With the left and right form the
genius part at the centre and
where my Iron Man place at. ”
