- Everyone has a viewbook and pen I will refer to different pages as we go through the presentation Inquiry card in middle of book Fill out for 3 reasons Win a t-shirt Entered into our database under program interest so we can sent you information and updates We are collecting stats on programs we do not currently offer as well so even if we don’t currently have a program that interests you, please write it on the card and hand it in
- Vermilion, AB Small town - population about 4,400 Began in 1913 Agricultural College at that time Currently has approximately 800 plus full-time students Has many part-time, trades and fire students as well
- Lloydminster, AB/SK Currently has approximately 600 plus full-time students New Bill Kondro wing – 12 million dollar wing State-of-the-art science labs and facility Use U of A physics manuals and had to redo them to reflect our equipment because U of A students don’t get to use that equipment until 3 rd or 4 th year
- CIC = Crown Investment Corporation - Up to 20 new bursaries (each $5,000 annually) will be awarded to qualifying Aboriginal students (Indian, Inuit and Métis) enrolled as full-time students in Lakeland College programs beginning this fall
- Show Program Area guide at beginning of viewbook – don’t go through every program UT options – show them the transfer table – p 15 old book Health & Wellness – point out Esthetics & Massage Therapy programs as well Human Services – make note of Sign Language programs and Australia practicum Interior Design – NKBA accreditation and winners in international competition for last 7 years
- 85% or higher in 5 academic subjects automatically qualifies you for 1500 – 3500 in Academic Excellence Scholarships There are deadlines for other scholarships, awards and bursaries – that info is on the website in Fin Aid section
