삼성전기(대표 강호문)는 지난달부터 0603 크기의
  적층세라믹콘덴서(MLCC)를 월 2000만개씩 양산, 기존 1608
  크기의 MLCC보다 공급단가가 최소 100배 이상 비싼 고수익
  부품사업 확대에 본격 나섰다. 특히 1005와 0603형 크기의 극소형
  MLCC 생산비중을 현재 15%선에서 연말까지 30%대로 높일
  계획이다.
   업계 관계자들은 “범용 부품의 경우 가격경쟁이 치열해
  수익성이 떨어지는 반면, 고부가 제품들은 매출 및 수익성
  창출효과가 크다”면서 “수동부품업체들이 범용 제품 생산기지를
  중국 및 동남아로 이전하는 대신 국내 공장은 고부가 제품 위주로
  빠르게 생산구조를 재편하는 추세”라고 강조했다.
