Tiquina Strait, visit to the church and town of Copacabana. By boat visit to the archaeological sites of the

RURRENABAQUE

(CHAP43) MADIDI NATIONAL PARK - CHALALÁN ECOLODGE / Duration: 4 days and 3 nights
Day 1: La Paz - Rurrenabaque
Staff of the Ecolodge will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to Rurrenabaque, where the
Ecolodge office is. Later you will be installed at a tourist class hotel. Free time at Rurrenabaque.
Day 2: Rurrenabaque - Chalalán Ecolodge
Breakfast at hotel. Travel by motor boat through the Beni River (5 to 6 hrs.) / "Bala Canyon”, that is the
entrance to Madidi National Park / Travel within the Park, in the Tuichi River / Observation of fauna and
the spectacular landscape of the Bolivian Amazon / Walk to the Ecolodge at Chalalán Lake / Short walk is
performed to learn about medicinal plants and plants for the construction of a sustainable manner /
Visit the lake viewpoint to appreciate the richness of the Madidi Park jungle.
Day 3: Chalalán Ecolodge - Madidi National Park
3 to 4 hour walk where you can learn more about the primary forest and wildlife in the Madidi Park / In
this day there are several topics that may be chosen: bird watching, natural interpretation of the forest,
behavior of the animals and, occasionally, observation of mammals. Free time (afternoon).

(SANM2) MADIDI NATIONAL PARK - SAN MIGUEL DEL BALA ECOLODGE / Duration: 4 days and 3 nights
Day 1: Rurrenabaque - San Miguel del Bala Ecolodge
Staff of the Ecolodge will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to Rurrenabaque, where the
Ecolodge office is. Travel by motor boat through the Beni River (45 min. approximately) /
Accommodation at typical style lodge / Walk with a local guide through the rain forest to learn Tacana’s
hunting techniques / Short walk to the community of San Miguel
Day 2: Interpretive learning paths
Adventure walk along a stream by the rainforest to learn about the species of flora and fauna that exist
in the zone / Natural pool where you can take a refreshing swim / In the afternoon you will walk through
a path of medicinal plants
Day 3: Eco hostel San Miguel the Bala - Madidi National Park
Traveling through Beni and Tuichi rivers, where you can see the famous "Bala Canyon” and enter to the
Madidi National Park / Caquihuara, great mud formation where you can see the red and blue “parabas”,
which are at risk of extinction and only exist in this area / Observation of the Park Madidi’s mega
biodiversity
Day 4: San Miguel Canyon / Rurrenabaque - La Paz
Walk is towards the famous “San Miguel Canyon" to visit this great natural beauty, a 150 meters creek.
Return to Rurrenabaque.
It includes: 3 nights at Ecolodge / All meals included at the Ecolodge (traditional dinners) / Ticket to
Madidi Park / Motorized boat / Native guides (English-Spanish) / All excursions guided
Does not include: La Paz - Rurrenabaque - La Paz flight / Boarding taxes at airport or terrestrial terminals
