2. Lamborghini Launched a Flagship Store on Taobao Mall
Lamborghini entered Taobao Mall on May 20th
(lamborghinizm.tmall.com), there was 17 models on sale
with price ranging from RMB 3.5 million to RMB 6.5 million.
However, this online store is not active any longer.
Till May 24th , Lamborghini’s Taobao store has attracted
over 13,000 orders, but none of them have resulted in a

While this movement appears to be a marketing promotion
rather than just selling. Quoted from an internal personnel
that this Taobao store is not opened by Lamborghini
officially but a distributor.
Relying on the extensive customer base of Taobao,
opening an online store for automotive brands can really
be considered as a marketing tactic, not only to increase Price
the sell result but also for online marketing.
