3. Join the Samuel Clemens Cheerleaders for our "Beach Bash" Pep Rally TOMORROWas the mighty Buffaloes prepare to take on the New Braunfels Unicorns! The class wearing the most Beach Themed attire (while still adhering to school dress code) will work its way towards winning the Buffalo Spirit Stick for the week! We will also be looking for volunteers to participate in the contest for the week!
4. Come out and support the Buffs this week at home against the New Braunfels Unicorns! Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. Friday night! Tickets will be on sale Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $6, Student $3 and Reserved are $7. All tickets at the gate will be $7. JV play Thursday night at New Braunfels with kick off at 6 p.m. Freshmen will be at home on Thursday night with B team kicking off at 5:30 p.m. and A team at 7:00 p.m. GO BUFFS BEAT THE UNICORNS!
5. Our first blood drive of the school year is Friday September 2nd. Sign ups are being done in the indoor courtyard during both lunches. You must be 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or 16 years old and weigh 120 pounds and have your parents consent.

7. JOIN STUDENT COUNCIL! Our first meeting is WEDNESDAY Sept. 7th AT 7PM IN THE MALL AREA Anyone is welcome so come join us for some fun!
8. HOSA meetings will be held in Q122 from 4:05-4:30 Tuesday and Thursday, you can come to either one, both are not required. This organization will provide you with information pertaining to the medical field, this will be our first meeting, so if you’re curious, come check us out!

DEADLINE Schedule Change request forms are due back to the Counseling Office by 4:30pm Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 Form must have your name, phone number, the course you are asking to “drop” and the course you would like to “add”, ANDyour parent’s signature indicating approval.
