Administrators, principals, parents, and teachers should all be aware of the essential opportunities that technology creates for our learners. We are preparing them to achieve in their upcoming education opportunities and in future careers. Technology is a goal to be had by all involved in the future generation’s success.

In an eight-year longitudinal study of SAT-I performance at New Hampshire’s Brewster Academy (Bain & Ross, 1999), students participating in the technology-integrated school reform efforts (School Design Model) demonstrated average increases of 94 points in combined SAT I performance over students who participated in the traditional school experience.
Enables teachers to be more comfortable, proficient, and confident in incorporating into the classroom Allows teachers to bring creative and affective technology and software into the classroom to be incorporated in their curriculum The more comfortable the teacher is with technology, the more the students will learn from it Provides instruction on effective ways to integrate technology rich learning experiences for their students
Eighth grade students who’s teachers receive professional technology training were reported to progress thirteen weeks above grade level In over seven hundred research studies done on students in grade fourth through eighth who had access to various technology sources at school showed positive gain on standardized tests
In English language arts and social studies, teachers report observing significant change in student skills and knowledge acquired after their students’ first multimedia project Technology creates learning opportunities for students to become experts in a subject allowing them to teach and explain an activity or subject matter to a peer
