• If I or my friends had the opportunity for real relationships, we’d take it,” says
Funk, who attends school in New York City. “But my generation hasn’t really been
conditioned for it.” Hookups, she adds, which she rejected for herself long ago but
some of her friends still embrace, “are like Thanksgiving for guys. They don’t have
to do anything to get sex!”

12. What women are saying
• I think morals have dropped quite a bit. women these days think they
have to dress like sluts to be sexy or tough or whatever it is they are trying
to achieve. no one actually seems to have any self respect these days.
• They don't seem to understand that they aren't going to get a good guy
who will love them for who they are if they continue to portray
themselves that way...It seems like if girls don't reveal a lot of themselves
and act a certain way, then they don't get the boy's attention....That's not
the case, and they are going to end up missing out on someone who
would respect them because of the guys they are actually attracting.
