2. Washburn Rural High School Artists Selected to
Exhibit in Prestigious 2023 Scholastic Art Exhibition
Congratulations to the following 16 students who received recognition
for their work at the 2023 Regional Scholastic Art Show in Wichita. The
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running, most
prestigious educational initiative supporting student achievement in
the visual and literary arts. The Scholastic Awards look for work that
demonstrates originality, technical skills and the emergence of personal
voice or vision. Washburn Rural High School had 35 works selected
this year. Silver and Gold Key works will be exhibited at Mark Arts
from Friday, February 10 through Saturday, March 25. The awards
ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 25 from 1-4 pm.
