Welcome back Jackets…
And welcome to Miss Waters’
World History E!
It’s in the syllabus!
Classroom Rules
• Be respectful
• Keep classroom clean
• No food or drinks
• Come to class prepared
• Follow all school policies as outlined in
student handbook.
What does all of this mean?
Be respectful
• Be respectful means there will be no
cussing, yelling, or name calling.
It also means that there will be no
talking during class unless
authorized.
Keep classroom clean
• Students will not leave trash on the floor.
That being said, you should not get up in
the middle of instruction to throw away
trash.
You must return all supplies to their proper place.
Text books should be stored neatly under your desk
and not on the floor. Desks, textbooks and walls are
not your personal canvas and should not be written,
drawn, painted or plastered upon. This will ensure
that everyone enjoys a clean and safe environment.
No food or drinks
• Food, candy and any drinks are not allowed. It is
distracting and unsanitary to have these things in the
classroom.
Come to class prepared
• Students must come
with all books,
notebooks and work to
class each day. Hall
passes will not be given
to retrieve forgotten
supplies. Paper and
writing utensils are
always needed.
This also means come to class on time and fully
rested and ready to learn. There will be no sleeping
in class. This will prevent delays in class and the
student from falling behind in work missed because
of lack of materials.
• All rules established by the school are to
be enforced and follow. Consistency in
school wide rules will leave little question
in students’ minds as to what is
appropriate and not appropriate.

Welcome back jackets syllabus

  • 2. And welcome to Miss Waters’ World History E!
  • 3. It’s in the syllabus! Classroom Rules • Be respectful • Keep classroom clean • No food or drinks • Come to class prepared • Follow all school policies as outlined in student handbook. What does all of this mean?
  • 4. Be respectful • Be respectful means there will be no cussing, yelling, or name calling.
  • 5. It also means that there will be no talking during class unless authorized.
  • 6. Keep classroom clean • Students will not leave trash on the floor. That being said, you should not get up in the middle of instruction to throw away trash.
  • 7. You must return all supplies to their proper place. Text books should be stored neatly under your desk and not on the floor. Desks, textbooks and walls are not your personal canvas and should not be written, drawn, painted or plastered upon. This will ensure that everyone enjoys a clean and safe environment.
  • 8. No food or drinks • Food, candy and any drinks are not allowed. It is distracting and unsanitary to have these things in the classroom.
  • 9. Come to class prepared • Students must come with all books, notebooks and work to class each day. Hall passes will not be given to retrieve forgotten supplies. Paper and writing utensils are always needed.
  • 10. This also means come to class on time and fully rested and ready to learn. There will be no sleeping in class. This will prevent delays in class and the student from falling behind in work missed because of lack of materials.
  • 11. • All rules established by the school are to be enforced and follow. Consistency in school wide rules will leave little question in students’ minds as to what is appropriate and not appropriate.
