An experienced researcher, versatile writer, and enthusiastic college teacher, I design meaningful, engaging learning experiences for all kinds of audiences. I'm looking for opportunities to develop more such experiences.
I'm currently Director of the IDEA Shop--instructional design and educational assessment--at Boise State University. With my fabulous team of instructional designers and other professionals, I help faculty work more thoughtfully at the intersection of pedagogy and technology. At least once a year, I teach history--primarily public history, but also gender and U.S.--to undergraduate and graduate students.
