The sound of a dripping faucet is a visceral remainder that water is being wasted. We also feel compelled to take action to stop a faucet from leaking.
This is an attempt to use the leaky faucet frame to describe phantom load.
ID specific home electronics as leaky faucets.
Show that remote controls signal these “leaky faucets.” Another photo could be a coffee table with all the different remote controls that a house might have.
Introducing behavior in the form of computer usage as a form of energy waste.
Similarly with cell phone chargers.
The Model T frame is an attempt to show that we are using an old-fashioned, outmoded and inefficient technology.
The modern CFL is state of the art and energy efficient.
This is the beginning of a set up to show how leaky and uninsulated houses are also leaky faucets.
The glowing house = energy waste.
The melting icicle frame = house heat loss = leaky faucet frame
