At the beginning of creating his music video, the author decided not to use any props other than musical instruments. However, he made two props himself that will have symbolic meanings in the video. A graffiti sheet inspired by a Coldplay album cover will be used in scenes of the band playing together to create a casual environment and show the unity of the band. A heart drawing will be used in scenes of the female protagonist alone to symbolize her desire for love, and at the end she will tear it to show she is heartbroken.

1. At an early stage in the blog I established
that I won’t be needing props other than
the music instruments. However, I took
some creative decisions and made two
pieces of props myself which are going to
have symbolic meaning within the music
video.

2. The graffiti sheet is inspired by the style of the album ‘mylo xyloto’ by
Coldplay . The songs of this album are the same genre as ‘Wonderwall’. I am
going to use is for the scenes when the band is playing together because it
creates casual environment, sort of summarises the love story between the
two characters and shows the unity of the band as they, supposedly, have
created it together.

3. I used the heart drawing for the scenes where the
female protagonist is on her own. It symbolises her
desire for love. At the end of the video she will tear it
suggesting she is heart broken.
