Propose While in an Exotic Place
It’s one of the common way to propose but the destination will make itself a unique
proposal……
So plan to propose before travelling and make sure whether you have the ring before taking
the trip.!!

Involve Your Hobbies
If there is an activity you both enjoy doing together, try to incorporate this into your
proposal. Whether you both have a love of sky diving, scuba diving, going to poetry readings, or
getting take out sushi on a Friday. There are many ways to nonchalantly plan an outing that
isn't out of the ordinary for you both and include the proposal here. It will not only make the
proposal a surprise, it will also make it a very personal experience.

Capture it on Video
There are a lot of examples of proposals caught on video. Recently one of my friends
proposed underneath a waterfall. He set up his camera on a tripod and told his
girlfriend he wanted to get a picture of them using the timer….
Little did she know he actually had the camera on the video setting and was able to
capture her reaction perfectly???

Surprise Your Sleeping Beauty
If your significant other is a heavy sleeper, put the engagement ring on while she is sleeping
but soon before she is due to wake up. She will be in a dreamlike state, and once she notices
the ring she will swoon with joy.

Hide the Ring
This can and has been done in a number of ways. You could hide the ring in the champagne, hide
it in an ornament on the Christmas tree, or hide it in plain view in her jewelry box. You will have
to be sure that you will be around when she finds the ring so you can immediately propose….. One
of my favorites was when a customer of mine wrapped the ring inside at least ten different
boxes. Her "birthday present" was a large inconspicuous box with many nested boxes. Once she
finally got to the tiny ring box… I am sure she knew what was coming, but the buildup made for
an amazing proposal.

Get the Family & Friends Involved
Whether you two have children, nieces or nephews, or other important little ones in your life,
there is nothing more precious than a child handing off the ring.
If family and friends are very important to you both, it is a great idea to involve them with
your proposal.

Jewelry Store Trip
I had some customers come into the shop to look for a birthday gift. The woman then took
time out to try on some sparkly diamonds. I brought one out of the case for her to try on
that the man had already paid for and had sized to her finger. Once she had it on and
commented on how beautiful it was, he got down on one knee to propose. Jewelers love being
part of this important moment in your lives, and they love it even more when they can help
plan a surprise proposal.
