• Multi-Criteria Evaluation Model to Generate Tentative Energy Ratings for Google Play
Store Apps
• Abstract: The tremendous increase in smartphone usage is clearly accompanied by an
increase in the need for more energy. This preoperational relationship between modern
technology and energy generates energy-greedy apps, and therefore power-hungry end
users. With many apps falling under the same category in an app store, these apps usually
share similar functionality. Because developers follow different design and development
schools, each app has its own energy-consumption habits. Since apps share similar
features, an end user with limited access to recharging resources would prefer an energy-
friendly app rather than a popular energy-greedy app. However, app stores give no
indication about the energy behavior of the apps they offer, which causes users to
randomly choose apps without understanding their energy-consumption behavior. To
address this issue, we propose a star-rating evaluation model (SREM), an approach that
generates a tentative energy rating label for each app. To that end, our solution adapts
current energy-aware refactoring tools to demonstrate the level of energy consumption
of an app and presents it in a star-rating schema similar to the Ecolabels used on
electrical home appliances.

• Knowledge Management and Use of ICT’s for SME’s in a knowledge base society to
attain Sustainable Growth
• Abstract: The aim of this research is to empirically examine and investigate the underlying
reasons behind the Digital Transformation within an Organisation with the use of
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) efficiently for a Small and Medium
enterprises (SME) in Turkey within a Knowledge Base Society. The research will allow us
to understand in depth the concepts and implementation of effective use of ICT’s for
SME’s to increase the efficiency of a Business unit resulting in increasing profits. The
Research is much needed as Turkey has a vision for 2023 and this will not be fruitful
without the SME’s development as 98% employment covers by SME and the use of ICT in
such environments are less than 10% according to last World bank survey in 2018. After
seeing the benefits, economic value and scope of business SME will properly implement
and follow the ethical procedure to overcome the problems to be extra safe and be ready
to avoid the slow growth rates or failure of a SME. In many developed nations, SME are
thought to contribute between 40% and 60% to gross domestic product and 60% and
70% of the employment, but the SME sector in TURKEY has not reached the mark yet.
Critical issues for SME survival are the profit margin decreases and inflation increases.
The Digital transformation to develop the SME Sector is a key step
