of NPU

http://iispp.npu.cz/mis_public/homepage.htm
• crowdsourcing within

• more than 400 000 items,
more than 250 000 items
public available
(not public domain)
NPU: Metainformation System - MIS
7. • National Heritage Institute provided to Europeana
6806 items
• we had about 100 000 public documents then
• why so few items were provided ?
– missing descriptions of heritage assets (they were in
many local databases)
– many documents were connected to parts of sites and
to unprotected buildings and also don´t have
requested fields in the old database MonumIS
CARARE project
8. • during the LoCloud project our CARARE dataset was
updated to about 125 000 items
using a trick: photographs and other documents are
considered to be heritage assets, so the originally
missing descriptions and other fields don´t matter
• provided a new dataset – VAL
- Significant archeological sites
- about 6 000 items
