than me, unfortunately, because the youngest
child is always the one who is playfully beaten
by the oldest.

• My grandma is 90
years of age. She
had 17 kids,
unfortunately 12
of them only lived
to be 1-5 months.
My grandmother
makes the best

11. • The reason my parents
came to the United
States from Mexico
was simply because
they wanted to have
children. Their desire
was to have at least 2
kids.

• They also wanted a
bright future for us and
agreed to get married
and move from Mexico
to the United states.
13. Where did they first come to?
• The first place my
parents rented an
apartment was in
Pomona, California.
They had their first
child. (My older
brother)

have they moved?• After 1 child my parents then decided to move
to the City of Chino. After 2 years they had
another child ( My brother) and then moved
back to Pomona after. About 1 year and a half
later, I was born. My dad was not interested in
having a third child according to my mother,
but she convinced him.
15. Why they have moved since first
arriving?

mom and dad

was because they
were robbed 1
time in the area
they were renting.
16. Where are they now?
• We now live in Pomona, California. We live in
an apartment. We have not been robbed ever
since we moved. The area is nice and the
neighbors are all friendly.
17. Part of wave?
• I believe the wave of
immigration we
belong in may be the
4th wave because it
include the Latin
America including
Mexico. The years
are 1918-Present.
19. • I am grateful for the love my family has
showed to my brothers and I. If my parents
were never as thoughtful as they were to
move from Mexico to the United States, we
would possibly be struggling with our school
and work.
20. • I now have no
problem with
acquiring a job or
getting a drivers
license or getting
help from the
government for my
education.
