2. Orthodox Most Traditional Go to the temple every Saturday. Interpret the bible literally. Focus on moral and ritual obligations. Can’t touch the opposite sex unless married. (no shaking hands) Wear Yarmulkes Wear plain colors. Women have to wear long sleeves shirts, skirts, and closed toe shoes. Men have peyos (side burns that curl) or beards.

4. Conservative Services in Hebrew They are Kosher They might not go to temple every Saturday. They study traditional Judaism but they make it more modern. This is the middle ground between orthodox and reform.

5. Reform Revolves around personal faith and beliefs with less focused on written word. They believe in individual choice. The person can pick what rituals they would like to participate in. They are not kosher but they will not eat pig.

6. Reconstructionist They think very liberally. Believe Judaism is constantly changing. They believe change should be embraced. They do not see Jesus as the chosen person.
