I. Introduction
Social Login extension allows customers to easily sign up or log in to your
Magento store via their social accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Google and
Yahoo. Such a module is believed to save time for customers and be helpful to
those who hesitate to create accounts on your site.
II.Install the module
1) Download the zip package of module from “My Downloadable Products” in
Magebuzz store.
2) Extract the zip package into a folder in your computer. You should see
following folder in the module: app.
3) Disable Magento Cache: Login backend and go to System > Cache
Management. Select all cache and click Disable button.
4) Using FTP client (Filezilla, Winscp…) to upload app folder to root folder of
your Magento site.
5) Log into backend again. If you can find Reports> Shopping Cart >Social
Login in the top menu, it means that installation is successful.

III. Configuration
After installing, you will need to do initial setup. You can make your
configuration by going to System>Configuration >Magebuzz Add-ons > Social Login.
General Settings
This tab allows the administrator to define :
- To show the sign up or log in popup window by relatively choosing “Yes” or
“No” for the other case. This pop up is believed to contribute to pushing the registration
or log-in process.
- To display sociallogin buttons in the customer log-in page or not. More
detailedly, customers can sign up/ log in your site using their Facebook, Twitter or Yahoo
accounts instead of creating a new account.
- To enable or disable sociallogin buttons in the checkout page. In case a
customer wants to buy your products and he hasn’t got any account in your site, a 'Social
Login' option is available and can be an alternative option for him.

This tab enables customers to log in your store by using their Facebook account with the
steps as followings:
- Enable Facebook Login: Click on “Yes” if you would like to allow your customers to
access your site via their Facebook accounts and “No” for the other case.
- Facebook login button: Insert a standard or any designed button you want to be
displayed on the pop up.
- Insert Facebook App ID and Facebook App Secret Key so that customers can connect
your system via Facebook.
How to take Facebook App ID and Facebook App Secret Key?
You have to submit an application on Facebook to apply for your Magento site’s
copyright by going to address https://developers.facebook.com/apps and clicking on the
“Create New App” button.
In this window, you’re required to complete two blanks with the App Name and App
Namespace.

After that, Facebook will return the administrator with two parameters including
Facebook App ID and Facebook App Secret in the sandbox mode.
Here, it is a must that you input your sociallogin domain in the “Website with Facebook
Login” field in order for Facebook and your website to be linked with each other.
One more thing, you have to disable the Sandbox mode to enable your customers to
access the application.

Twitter login
- The situation has no change for Twitter Login. You also need to fill two values
including Twitter Consumer Key and Twitter Consumer Secret.
- Go to address : https://dev.twitter.com/apps and Click button Create New App.
It’s time for you to add all details including App name, App description together with
your sociallogin website and callback domain.

Once again, all the added information is displayed in the next window. By clicking on
the Details, you will find Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in the OAuth settings.

Yahoo login
In the case of registration, Yahoo will return the administrator with three parameters
including Yahoo Consumer Key, Yahoo Consumer Secret and Yahoo Consumer ID.
Similarly, you can accesss https://developer.apps.yahoo.com/projects and create a project
by completing all the blanks as following:

Right after the registration is completed, Yahoo will return you with some parameters
among which there are some values you are looking for like Application ID, Consumer
Key and Consumer Secret.
Google login
The case seems to be much simpler with Google. There are only two things you need to
complete before allowing your customers to log in your system by using their Google
accounts, that are Enable Google Login and select Google Login Button.
