  1. 可安排個人化的桌面，將自己常用的功能擺在容易點選的位置
  2. 直式與橫式雙桌面模式提供使用者兩種使用情境
  3. 將 icon 放大，可以增加常用功能的辨識度，減少尋找的時間
  4. 可以將 Ap 與聯絡人加到桌面的 icon ，同時加上個人的風格與習慣，但保留整齊的視覺效果
  5. Iphone 必須花較多的時間尋找 icon ，因為 icon 都一樣大
  6. 可以加上網頁 bookmarka 與聯絡人的捷徑在桌面上，方便使用
  7. >>Nokia N97 最多只能增加 6 個聯絡人在桌面 >>HTC Diamond 以及 iPhone 無法加聯絡人在桌面
  8. >>Samsung Omnia i900 能讓使用者將 widget 拖曳至桌面限定的範圍內，而且無法流暢的翻動桌面
  9. Iphone 桌面為頁面模式，無法使用連續桌面
  10. Icon 可以改變背景的主題
  11. 可改變 icon 的型態，以及背景的 theme
  12. Iphone 無法改變桌面的 theme
  13. 從電腦桌面進化而來，成為讓使用者可以隨時完成工作
  14. 桌面上能同時使執行多個應用程式 >> 使用者可以保留執行到一半的工作，在執行另一件事 能同時接收訊號並更新資訊
  15. 可以一邊執行程式，同時注意桌面上的訊息
  16. 在桌面同時開啟兩個瀏覽器 >> 可以同時接收多項及時資訊
