2. Turn on the computer and press power on
the remote to turn on the PolyVision
Board (it will begin to flash).
3. • Plug in the PolyVision stick in the USB
port on the computer (right side of
computer).
4. •Plug in the monitor cable to connect the
computer screen with the PolyVision board.
5. If you would like to use sound, plug in the thin
black cord to the PolyVision Board and the
other end into the headphone port on the
computer.
6. •If you would like to use the Visualizer, you must plug in the
Visualizer cord into the USB port (next the PolyVision
Bluetooth).
7. •To turn off the Polyvision board click the power button 2xs.
8. Use the pen to write or draw on the
PolyVision board. Simply open the
pen, press the draw/mouse button on
the board's magnetic strip, and begin
writing/drawing. *you can only use the
pen to either write/draw or as a
mouse—you must click the button on
the magnetic strip to switch between
using the pen as a pen or a mouse. *if
the connection is lost, you may need to
reconnect the USB stick
9. To open a blank document
(like Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
double click on the LibreOffice
Program and click on the desired
program you would like to use.
10. In the libreOffice Writer program,
you can create a text by typing
on the computer itself or by
using the keyboard function on
the magnetic strip (move the
keyboard around the screen by
placing the cursor over it, click,
and drag and drop to the desired
spot…you can also make the
keyboard smaller or larger by
clicking on a corner of the
keyboard and making it larger or
smaller).

12. To use the Visualizer, press the power button
and the visual under the camera will appear on
the PolyVision Board (you can position the
camera wherever you want). To zoom in on
something, click the zoom button, and highlight
the area you would like to zoom in on on the
board or computer screen

14. To lock an image, press the lock button on
the computer or PolyVision Board. This
will keep an image in place on the board
so you don’t have to worry about it
moving. You can use the pen to write on
top of the image if you would like.

16. To save an image projected on the
PolyVision Board, click the camera button.
It will automatically save, so you can send it
by email to your students, easily access it
for the next class, etc.
