• BINL (Boot Information Negotiation Layer)
Responsible for RIS Process. Informs the Sequence of
servers to all Clients.
• TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol)
Responsible for downloading OS Files from server to
clients
• SIS (Single-Instance Storage)
Responsible for saving all common files of multiple
images in Single folder Called SIS Common Store
4. Types of Installations
• Attended
If we manually attend the client to answer all Questions
like Name, Org Name, Product Key, Time Settings etc.
• Unattended
If we don’t attend the Client to answer those Questions
instead of us Answer File Will answer all the Questions.
5. Known & Unknown Clients
• Known Clients
If the Client Information (GUID) is present in Active
Directory.
• Unknown Clients
If the Client Information (GUID) is not present in Active
Directory.
