The focus of units A-D has been on student accomplishment. The focus of Unit E is on us– the teacher as a student of learning.You could also say that the first 4 units was about how to get a job. The last one is about how to find a good school to work for.
This book began with the concept of consistency in the classroom and it has taken 25 chapters to explain how to establish that consistency. No the book ends with the concept of consistency in the school.
Successful skills: I used to think that using curriculum was necessary to teach a class…. It’s not, it’s just another program. Its HOW we teach the content that matters.
When schools help teachers become proficient and effective, they are increasing their assets.
