KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Engaged in Engg/Task force for VSTPP of NTPC Ltd In Engg Office Complex
(EOC) at Noida Office.
 Vindhaychal Super Thermal Power Project (VSTPP) of NTPC is expanding its
13th
unit of 500 MW in MP Vindhaychal. It is largest in Asia with total capacity of
4260 MW and with commissioning of 13th
unit, it shall achieve total capacity of
4760.
 Task force is part of Project Engg Group which coordinates with Engg,
Contracts and site for overall completion of Engg to ensure timely completion of all
Engg drgs related to project including design, foundation, structural, equipment
including Quality plans, vendor finalisation, approval of technical specification and
maintaining the drgs submission schedule. There is very strong Engg monitoring
system through Planning and System Group where submission of drgs is always
maintained at 75% and below that level call for immediate Technical Coordination
Meeting (TCM) with Vendor. Project Execution is also coupled with regular Project
Review Team (PRT) meetings at Site.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Worked for NTPC entering in nuclear business for setting up 2x700 MW
(PHWR based) Nuclear Power Plant in Haryana.
In association with NPCIL, NTPC entered into Joint Venture with NPCIL in
(NPCIL: 51%, NTPC: 49%) equity and formed a Joint Venture Company by the
name Anu Shakti Vidhyut Nigam Ltd with its head office at Mumbai. Initially
NTPC trained about 100 engineers at Kudankulam NPP for one year and planned to
set up 1000 MW PHWR based Nuclear Power Plant in Haryana. As on date the
NTPC is looking forward the directive from Govt of India for further move.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Worked in new business development group of the company wherein the
individual has managed independently the takeover of 210 MW thermal power
stations of MTPS at Muzzafarpur and associated in formation of joint venture
Company between NTPC and BSEB/GOB. Presently the joint venture company
is running under the name of Kanti Thermal Power Station at reasonably good
PLF. The total capacity of the station is 450 MW.
 The above job involves liaising with state Govt Agencies, Power Ministry,
Registrar of Companies and various State Electricity Boards for possible
takeover, Merger and Acquisition. This also involves formulation of terms and
condition for MoU, MoA, AoA, and JVA.
 Involved in technical and gap analysis of underperforming power stations of
various state electricity boards.
 Involved in preparation of Business Plan of department reflecting the overall
requirement.

 This site was of Delhi Vidhyut Board consisting of 330MW combined Gas
project. NTPC has taken the Consultancy assignment for supervision of the erection,
testing and commissioning of the unit. I was involved in the erection and

consultancy services to Delhi Vidhyut Board on the project execution
