Project 5: FMS (FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) E_Govt Project                     Jan 11 to Mar 2012

 The File Management System (FMS) for Directorate of Information Technology is
 meant to keep track of the physical correspondence (Letters, Memos and Files)
 circulated among Directorates. This Tracking of physical documents shall be based on
 Barcode which shall be generated based on the inputs provided by the Correspondence
 Initiator in to the Workflow.
 FMS has been deployed in DIT (Sena Bhavan) at Central Server along with the base
 Document Management engine; The FMS hosted at DIT Central Server shall be
 accessible to all the predefined users available at different directorates.
 This application is a web based application & 80 users in distributed environment shall
 be able to access the application hosted in central server. While the user at Directorate
 level is not connected to the Central Application Server, they can access the local FMS
 Server to work on the File movements without any interruption.

2012

FineDocs is a product of Pyramid IT Consulting. FineDocs is an (ECM) Enterprise
Document (Content) Management Software built on Microsoft .Net technologies that
enables organizations to efficiently manage business documents through conversion of
large volumes of paper documents into electronic images for Instantaneous retrieval.
Fine docs is Based on Client-Server Architecture for Document Scanning Form Processing
Module. It is Web based Architecture for Indexing, Search & Retrieval, Audit rails,
Archival, Administration Modules Document Management System provides a centralized
repository for the document archival and management for an Enterprise. A complete
document management life cycle can be segregated into three parts:

Document Acquisition: Scan and Import documents to the system by Fine scan software.

Document life cycle Management:

          •   Index and Organize documents department wise.
          •   Archive and Storage of documents (As per Organization Rules).

Document retrieval and distribution: Retrieve and Distribute documents.

PRO is primarily on the procurement and construction end of the project materials
process. This starts by importing the Material Requirements (Material Indent) from
different departments and then manages the process of Progress monitoring.
