2. ABOUT US
The bodies responsible for managing the documentary,
photographic and cinematographic resources (film and media
archives) in the Ministries of Agriculture of France, Holland and
Spain started a fruitful exchange of experiences in 2009.

3. TASK
To disseminate and transfer the experiences and
materials derived from the shared work of recovering
and enhancing the multimedia material on the rural
environment.

4. Strong European vocation of
OPPORTUNITIES
RURALMEDIA , in a context of cooperation
and exchange of contributions and
materials.
It aims to create an open contact
reference to channel the participation of
an increasing number of stakeholders.
It strengths the interest and
participation of potential new partners in
the network’s activities.

5. To restore and add value to the audiovisual heritage (film, photograph and
audio) on rural development
To incorporate the audiovisual heritage to the work of the scientific and
education community as a teaching and revitalizing tool
OBJECTIVES
To support, promote and produce new audiovisual material that can
contribute to spread knowledge and reflection on EU Agricultural Policy
Origin of the debate and reflection on common and different elements of
audiovisual productions of Member States
To promote among European citizens the development and importance of
agriculture and agricultural policies for the cohesion and integration of the
European Union.
To capitalize, transfer and manage knowledge on rural development and
agricultural policies.
To foster the incorporation of new European areas to the process of adding
value to audiovisual heritage.
To make European and National Institutions aware of the importance of
making use and adding value to audiovisual heritage in the fields of promotion,
research and education on agricultural policies..
To facilitate the exchange of experiences and methods of intervention in the
field of rural development.
