Women
Step by step women have got small goals for thousand years.
Luckily things have changed since women collected wild fruits
and were dragged by their hair in the caverns.
At the beginning of the 20th century women couldn’t go abroad
or rent a flat by themselves unless their husbands gave them
permission. Moreover, if they were hit by their husbands, shut in
by their parents or if they were mistreated, they couldn’t report
these facts to the police because there weren’t laws to protect
women from them. Thanks to Clara Campoamor, Spanish
women can vote since 1931. Little by little, the government was
creating more laws to women advantage. That was a big aim for
them.
Nowadays, things are better for women. According to the Law,
men and women are equal. There are a lot of lawyers, judges and
ministers who are women, but there are some problems that
they and society must solve, take the case of women who are
killed by their partners. Women’s education is another problem
to solve, in fact, women education is a burden at most of the
cases so it should be changed if women want to achieve all their
aims. Furthermore, people prefer women to do some jobs and
not to do other ones, and if they are immigrants they’ll earn less
money.
In conclusion, things are changing for women now but women
have to keep trying because there are other things that they
need still change. If they go on and never give up, they will get
their goals and there will be a better future.
