COUNTRY? 
 Sri Lanka area is about : It has a total area of 
65,610 km², with 64,740 km² of land and 870 km² 
of water. 
 Nepal area is about : It has a total area of 
147,181 km2, with 92.94% km2 of land and 
7.06% of water. 
 Bangladesh area is about : It has a total of 
144,000 km², with 133,910% km2 of land and 
10,090% km2 of water.
WHAT IS THE POPULATION OF EACH COUNTRY? 
 Sri Lanka population is about : 20,277,597 
people. 
 Nepal population is about : 26,494,504 people. 
 Bangladesh population is about : 156,594,962 
people. 
 2013 population.
WHAT ARE THE CAPITALS OF EACH COUNTRY? 
 Sri Lanka capital : Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. 
 Nepal capital : Katmandú . 
 Bangladesh capital : Daca .

WHAT IS THE SPOKEN LANGUAGE? ARE THERE 
ANY SECONDARY LANGUAGES? 
 Sri Kanla language : Sinhala is the most 
spoken, yes, is the Tamil . 
 Nepal Language : nepalí , there is not a 
secondary language . 
 Bangladesh language : Bengali , yes , the 
english .
WHAT ARE THE THREE MAIN RELIGIONS? NAME THEM IN ORDER, FROM THE 
MOST POPULAR TO THE LEAST AND HOW MUCH PERCENTAGE OF THE 
POPULATION IS CONTAINED IN EACH ONE. 
 Sri Lanka's population practices a variety of religions. 70.2% of Sri 
Lankans were Theravada Buddhists, 12.6% were Hindus, 9.7% were 
Muslims 7.4% and Christians 1.9%. 
 Nepal population practices a variety of religions . Hinduism (81.3%) is 
the more practice religion, Buddhism (9.0%),Islam (4.4%). 
Islam is the largest Religion of Bangladesh; Muslims constitute 90.4% of 
the population, followed by Hindus, who constitute 8.2%, and Buddhists, 
Christians, those who practice other religions and those who do not are 
the remainders.

THEY ABOUT? 
 Sri Lanka Holidays 
 January 
 Duruthu Poya - marks the 1st of 
january , Lord Buddha’s 3 visits to 
Sri Lanka. 
 Thai Pongol - a Hindu festival that 
honours Surya (the sun god), Indra 
(bringer of rains) and the cow. 
 February 
 February 4th is Independence Day, 
Nepal holidays : 
September 25: Ghatasthapana is the beginning of 
Dashain. 
December 30 :Tamu Lhosar is a Losar celebrated 
mostly by the Gurung Community. 
December 25 :Christmas is a Commemoration of 
birth of Jesus Christ. 
Bangladesh holidays : 
Pahela Baishakh : The advent of Bengali New Year is gaily observed throughout the country. Is 
celebrate in Abril 
Independence Day: March 26 is the day of Independence of Bangladesh. It is the biggest state 
festival. 
Eid-e-Miladunnabi: Eid-e-Miladunnabi is the birth and death day of Prophet Muhammad, is 
celebrate in 12th Rabiul Awal (Lunar Month).

IS THERE ANY TRADITIONAL ATTIRE? WHAT 
ARE THE NAMES? 
 Sri lanka cloths : 
 Women (near the age of 
marrying or already married) 
normally wear a Kandyan, Men 
wear sarongs. 
 Nepal cloths :Daura-Suruwal or 
Labeda Suruwal is a traditional 
national costume of Nepal of the 
men, Women in Nepal wear a 
garment called sari -style Guniu 
 Bangladesh cloths: 
 Bangladeshi men sometimes 
wear kurta or fatua on 
religious and cultural 
occasions. And the womens 
use Shalwar Kameez and 
Sharee, they like to wear .
