1. It is a very easy voice recording service
2. It is a free web 2.0 tool
3. There is no need for sign up
4. It is online, there is no need for installing software
5. It allows users to record audio, listen and re-record (if
necessary)
6. It allows users to save and share the audio
7. It allows users to embed their audio into a website.
5. Recording – Allow button
• The program will ask
for your permission
to use your
microphone.
• CLICK on “Allow”
button to give the
program access to
your microphone.
6. Stop recording
When you finish
your audio recording
CLICK on the “Click
to stop” button to
stop.
7. Listening and upgrading

listen to what you have just
recorded.

re-record over again what

11. Delete the audio recording
• You can save the link and delete the audio later or CLICK
on the “Delete Now” button. It will provide a warning
confirming that you want to delete the audio recording.
CLICK on “Ok, delete this message>>” and it will be
deleted.
16. ASSIGNMENT
After watching the Vocaroo’s presentation the participants have
to create their own audio recording and upload them in the
Forum on the TwinSpace.

17. Classroom Applications
• GENERALLY
1. Record an audio welcome message and put it on your blog/school
webpage etc.
2. Share a recorded message for ‘homework’ (the teacher or one of
the students can record and post it in the class blog).
3. Leave a recorded message via email or blog to encourage students
for the upcoming test or to encourage them for their bet behavior
4. Send a reminder message for an upcoming event via email or block.
5. Transform a written text to oral to help students with vision
problems.
18. Classroom Applications
• LANGUAGE LESSON
1. Ask students to practice their oral reading skills. The teacher
and/or the students can post recordings on your blog
(wiki/webpage) for others to hear (parents, friends…).
2. Students can develop their oral language skills by making their
audio recordings with narratives, stories etc..
3. Students can record words or phrases and then email them to
their teacher (asking for the meaning or for the grammar).
4. Students can hear and practice the pronunciation (i.e.
multilingual students).
