Mark’s path to founding and building the Fiveplus business is a story of constant movement,
application and asking powerful questions like “what is a better way to do this that creates the
most value for clients?”


Mark graduated from University with double Honours in Economics and Finance. Cutting his
negotiation and decision making teeth in investment banking at a fast paced London firm gave
Mark a solid foundation for his next step, returning to South Africa to start up a wholesale diamond
trading business.


This business grew rapidly and following the sale of this business to a multi-national conglomerate,
Mark founded the Fiveplus Group and developed the dynamic workshops and innovative training
materials business professionals rave about and benefit from today.
Mark Bernberg has a burning passion.
