I started my career in a five star resort in Queensland in 1990, then went on to Sydney for 3 years then completed several seasons in an Australian ski chalet, before returning to Napier. I have been teaching culinary arts at the Eastern Institute of Technology since 1999. I have a passion for teaching people the craft of cooking and enjoy using the high quality produce available in Hawkes Bay for our culinary arts students and incorporating it into my teaching. I enjoy hand crafted artisan foods like bread & cheese making. I have built 2 pizza ovens from the ground up and am planning my third.
