An Executive Search & Recruitment Firm From detailed start-up meetings and creating thorough position descriptions—to weekly status reports with candidate updates—to offer negotiations for the final candidate, TCG is there to support your search endeavors, as well as guide, consult and manage the process to completion. The following chart is an overview of our 7-Step Search Process. -6- Defining the Client’s Opportunity: • Obtain a thorough understanding of the role, scope and impact points of the position • Create a personality profile for the position • Reconfirm ideal candidate profile, search parameters and expectations to ensure satisfaction 1. Follow up: • Coach and monitor candidate throughout the resignation process • Consult with client regarding on-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition • Send quality survey to client as a continuous improvement initiative 7. • Present search assignment to Project Team, to include: Senior Manager, Project Manager/Coordinator, Internet Research Team and Administration • Create presentations and advertising designed to attract peak performers • Compile a target list of companies to prospect for relevant candidates • Advertise the opportunity on several major job boards via the internet • Search TCG’s proprietary database for qualified candidates and networking contacts • Source, recruit and screen candidates from all venues 2. Building a Strategic Recruiting Campaign: Executing a comprehensive process and defining communication points ensure a successful outcome.
  8. 8. “All labor that has dignity and importance should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” -Martin Luther King Jr. 7-Step Search Process -7- Qualifying Candidates: • Conduct in-depth behavioral based interview • Confirm technical and cultural compatibility • Evaluate candidate’s accomplishments, motivations and objectives • Obtain candidate’s authorization for any additional confirmations, i.e. background checks, education verification… as required by client • Gauge the candidates interest by their ability to support their decision to move forward • Brief client on progress of search 3. Presentation of Candidates: • Provide complete package of information on each “short list” candidate to include: Candidate summary, resume, additional profiles, assessments… • Review and discuss each candidate with the hiring authority to ensure full disclosure • Establish interview date, time and location and schedule selected candidates 4. Interviewing: • Obtain post-interview feedback from client and candidates • Schedule follow-up interviews • Notify turndown candidates 5. Offers: • Obtain verbal offer from client • Close the candidate on the opportunity, “potential offer” and start date • Extend verbal offer on behalf of client. • Upon acceptance of verbal offer, client extends written offer 6.

About the President & CEO -9- Bert Wendeln Bert Wendeln Bert Wendeln is an equal shareholder of The Carlisle Group, a privately held, Global Executive Search & Recruitment Firm, and serves as the firm’s President and CEO. BertisaBusinessManagementgraduate oftheShippensburgUniversitySchoolof Businessandhasbeenanactivemember on the institution’s Business Board of Directors since 1997. The first part of Bert’s professional career was spent with the Norwest Corporation (currently Wells-Fargo) as a Senior Manager, directing the activities of several multi- million dollar business units. As part of the fast-track, executive development program, Bert was exposed to all facets of the business and even enjoyed the honor of being named “Employee of the Year” in 1994. The Carlisle Group was founded and incorporated in February of 1996. Bert was one of the first employees to join TCG and quickly demonstrated a unique ability to help clients solve their most complex staffing needs. Within a year, Bert and his co-partner, Shelly Wendeln, successfully purchased the business from the firm’s original owner. Since July of 1997, Bert has directed the activities of the organization while continuing to build strong client relationships which have generated over $6 million in personal sales to date. In addition, he has diversified the client portfolio and spearheaded the firm’s international efforts; to include contract employees in India for competitive internet research and analysis - as well as managing International Searches/ Projects for our multinational corporate clients. Today, Bert’s efforts are concentrated on the development of others.
