The John Leland Center for Theological Studies is a Virginia-based Baptist seminary, led by President Mark Olson. At the seminary, students from any denomination can pursue certificate and master’s degree programs to help them fulfill their personal spiritual missions. During Mark Olson’s tenure, the John Leland Center has enlarged its trustee board and increased its revenue from annual giving. This growth has enabled the school to offer a new program in leadership studies and to upgrade its technology infrastructure. The seminary’s student body includes many adults who work full time and have families.
