EUROPE 2020 5 TARGETS
1. Employment : 75% of the 20-64 year-olds to be employed
2. R&D / innovation: 3% of the EU's GDP (public and private combined) to be
invested in R&D/innovation
3. Climate change / energy
     greenhouse gas emissions 20% (or even 30%, if the conditions are right)
     lower than 1990
     20% of energy from renewables
     20% increase in energy efficiency
4. Education
     Reducing school drop-out rates below 10%
     at least 40% of 30-34–year-olds completing third level education
5. Poverty / social exclusion
     at least 20 million fewer people in or at risk of poverty and social
     exclusion

Strategic framework for education and
                 training
The long-term strategic objectives of EU education and
training policies are:
• Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality;
• Improving the quality and efficiency of education
   and training;
• Promoting equity, social cohesion and active
   citizenship;
• Enhancing creativity and innovation, including
   entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and

NON-FORMAL AND INFORMAL
            LEARNING
Learning that takes place in formal education and
training systems is traditionally the most visible
and recognised in the labour market and by
society in general. In recent years, however, there
has been a growing appreciation of the
importance of learning in non-formal and
informal settings. New approaches are needed to
identify and validate these ‘invisible’ learning

LEARNING FOR ALL
The value of adult learning to employability and
mobility is widely acknowledged across the EU,
but it still needs greater recognition and resources.
At present, adult participation in „lifelong
learning‟ varies greatly and is unsatisfactory in
many EU countries. The European Union set a
target for average participation in lifelong learning
throughout the EU at 12.5% by 2010 for adults
aged 25-64. In 2008, average participation was

MOBILITY CREATES OPPORTUNITIES
• The role of teacher has changed; today they are asked to
  organise and monitor learning processes rather than to
  impart manifest knowledge.
• mobility programmes for teachers are designed to have a
  significant impact on their professional development.
• Mobility fosters better understanding of cultural differences
  and an awareness of the European dimension of teaching.
  It supports teachers in their learning processes and
  supports their professional development.

  help and inspiration, search upcoming activities in our
  Comenius Training Database.
• Once you have found the ideal activity or conference, reserve a
  place!
• Complete the 2011 In-Service Training Application Form.
• Submit your application by the relevant application deadline.

 Scambio con Li-ceum Ogól­no­kształ­cące nr IV di
 Wroclaw
 Ha previsto mobilità di insegnanti e studenti. La
 sezione coinvolta è Elettrotecnica e Automazione.
 Ha vinto il finanziamento messo in palio nel 2010
 dalla Regione Emilia Romagna tramite il bando
 "Costruire l'Europa con i gemellaggi”, che, con la
 collaborazione delle famiglie, ha reso possibile l’attività di
 scambio

Progetto biennale 2010-2012. Coinvolge 9 Paesi Europei. Prevede mobilità per docenti e
studenti. Finanziamento Europeo
 Progetto Comenius Regio "GO FAR" coordinato dall' USR
Progetto biennale 2010-2012. E' un progetto che coinvolge diversi enti e scuole dell'Emilia
Romagna e della regione di Pinneberg in Germania.Prevede mobilità di docenti.
Finanziamento Europeo.
 Progetto Comenius Regio “Growing Up Together” Italia-Svezia gestito dalla Regione
Emilia Romagna . Progetto biennale 2010-2012. Gli IISAV sono stati coinvolti nelle viste
della delegazione svedese in quanto le attività di integrazione svolte presso I nostri istituti
sono considerate pratiche di eccellenza
 Assistentato Comenius
Per il secondo anno consecutivo gli Istituti IISAV ospitano un assistente Comenius.
Nell‟As.2009-2010 l‟assistente era di nazionalità turca, quest‟anno è irlandese

   Nelle sezioni di Chimica, Meccanica,
   Elettrotecnica e Automazione vengono svolti in
   inglese moduli delle materie tecniche di
   specializzazione. L’attività coinvolge 8 classi e 9
   docenti.

Strategic framework for education and training The long-term strategic objectives of EU education and training policies are: • Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality; • Improving the quality and efficiency of education and training; • Promoting equity, social cohesion and active citizenship; • Enhancing creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training. 8

NON-FORMAL AND INFORMAL LEARNING Learning that takes place in formal education and training systems is traditionally the most visible and recognised in the labour market and by society in general. In recent years, however, there has been a growing appreciation of the importance of learning in non-formal and informal settings.   • 10. LEARNING FOR ALL The value of adult learning to employability and mobility is widely acknowledged across the EU, but it still needs greater recognition and resources. At present, adult participation in „lifelong learning‟ varies greatly and is unsatisfactory in many EU countries. The European Union set a target for average participation in lifelong learning throughout the EU at 12.5% by 2010 for adults aged 25-64. MOBILITY CREATES OPPORTUNITIES • The role of teacher has changed; today they are asked to organise and monitor learning processes rather than to impart manifest knowledge. • mobility programmes for teachers are designed to have a significant impact on their professional development. • Mobility fosters better understanding of cultural differences and an awareness of the European dimension of teaching. Teachers rooms •A Teachers Room is a place where teachers can discuss specific topics over a short period of time and are created directly by eTwinners. •Public Teachers Rooms are open to all eTwinners to view and contribute. •Restricted Teachers Rooms can be viewed by all eTwinners; however, to contribute to them, one must be invited.
