It is very important to know the correct cube action in Late Hit game as it happens very often and the equity on the line is usually big.
To know when to double and take, I presented the easiest way.
6. 4 OFF
4 off is a Huge pass provided
spares distributed normally.
Having no spare on 6p and 5p is
Really bad.
Obviously 3 off or less is even
bigger pass.
16. WHEN IS DOUBLE – TAKE?
When Yellow has N-4
checkers off, it is a Double and
Take.
*N = number of checkers Black bear off
**It applies from 0 off to 9 off.
10 or more you should use N-5.
17. EXAMPLE 1 (6 OFF)
BLACK HAS 6 OFF, SO 6 - 4 = 2. YELLOW HAS 2 OFF !
18. EXAMPLE 2 (7 OFF)
BLACK HAS 7 OFF, SO 7-4=3. YELLOW HAS 3 OFF.
19. 6 OFF
6 off is a big no double until
you have two men off.
N-4 is an Double-Take.
(it applies 0 off to 9 off)
