Basic Departmental Duties Performed:
A) Meeting with Customer:
• For procuring orders.
• Get details information for pricing.
• Get information about sample.
• Convey missing information about existing orders as well as communicate Information which
may need in future.
B) Study Order Details:
• Find out whether Buyer give all information on order sheet, like Model, Fabric cutting,
• Label Instruction, Folding Instruction, Assortment, Packing So On.
• Check Prices and get confirmation
• Check shipment date and get confirmation.
• Order confirmation.
• Requirement of sample.
C) Prepare requirement of fabrics and accessories:
• Collect consumption of fabrics.
• Prepare list and quantity of accessories.
• Prepare fabric cutting together with requirements and send supplier
• Prepare accessories card and send to supplier.
D) Sources of Supplier:
• Get prices of material from different supplier.
• Once supplier been fixed send order confirmation and collect pro-forma invoice from
Suppliers.
• Pressure supplier for Lab Dip as well as accessories sample.
E) Follow-Up L/C Opening:
• Get sure that Customer have opened Export L/C.
• Get sure back to back L/C have Opened.
F) Follow-Up Garments Shipment:
• Collect sample Yardage/Accessories from the supplier for making sample.
• Follow-Up Customer’s sample like salesmen/Photo sample/Shipping sample as per
• stipulated period.
• Follow-Up Technical information with Customer.
• Follow-Up Fabrics and Accessories Shipment.
• Follow-Up with Import Department about clearance of Material.
• Check Inventory report if something missing or shortage and organize material.
• Keeping record of daily production status.
• Check shipment and vessel status
G) Documentation:
• Get sure Export department have sent all documents and if any special instruction given by
