8. Some places are very characteristic of the weather in Colombia: The snowcapped mountain, Nevadodel Ruiz: it’s Covered by glacier that has been disappearing because ofthe heating of the atmosphere. The temperature fluctuates between 14°C and 3°C. It’s at 5.400 meters above the sea level.
9. The Amazonía: It has warm humid weather. Throughout the year there are constant rains and there is not dry weather. The temperature fluctuates between 25°C and 26°C.
10. Chocó: it is the area of the highest rainfall around the globe. Guajira: it is the driest area of Colombia; it only rains between September and December.
11. Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta: It’s the highest coastal mountain in the world. It´s the highest mountain in Colombia, it has a temperature of zero degrees or less at the peaks.
