Thisis still leftaspectstobe desiredthoughas

adjustmentlayer,andusedthe colourpanel in
premierproto change some of the coloursand
add some creative aspects. Instartedoff with
by desaturationthe videoabitandalso
reducingthe vibrancyinorderto give the
coloursmore of a dull look,andincombination
withaddingfade andincreasingthe white level
a touch made the colourslookpastel. This
meantthat the coloursof the filmare quite
weak,reflectingthe narrative and the more
depressingsidetoit.Anexample of thisisin
the firstshot of the graveyard,originallythe
grass wasverygreenmakingitlooklush,and so
I addedthese changesandthe greenbecame a
lotdullerandevenclosertogrey,makingthe
scene look gloomyanddepressing.

Cutting/Inand Outpoints Cuttingmyfootage wasa fundamental aspect
of the process.Usingmyedl I usedinand out
pointstoselectthe relevantpartsof different
clipsfromthe besttakes,and thenI added
themto my time line.Alsosomeclipswere cut
fromwithinthe timeline,inordertomatch
differenttakes,inordertocreate effective
match cuts or justto fitthe timingsof other
clips.
SoundEditing Soundeditingwasanotherfundamental aspect
of my film.Itwas importantfirsttoorganise all
of mysoundclipsrecordedexternally,andthen
sync itto the footage on the timeline.Ialsohad
to mix the differentaudiochannels.For
example,itwasimportantformydialogue to
be louderthanmy music,andit was important
for mydialogue toall be at the same volume,

meterto analyse the differentaudioclipsand
make sure theywere all at the same volume,
and definitelynotpeaking.
Graphics Graphicswere not somethingIusedoften,in
fact I onlyusedone title graphicatthe
beginning.AllIdidtoeditthiswas alteringthe
font,and increase the size andthencentre it.
