The results of this report reflect an conducted April through May
2012. The survey solicited members of the general public through placement on our corporate website
and social media promotion, and current MCS clients through direct email. More than half of the
respondents identified themselves as representing a law firm. Some figures are rounded to better
represent the data in this infographic report. Additional reporting is cited from
a free download available at
www.aiim.org.
MCS Management Services holds a distinguished professional membership with AIIM as an
organization. AIIM is a non-profit, global community of information management professionals, with
more than 65,000 members worldwide.



AIIM: Key policies are not in place:
. A further 15% have
such a policy, but it is largely unreferenced. Less than half
of even the largest organizations have a risk management
plan that includes records management.





AIIM: Dealing with emails and agreeing taxonomies are
still front of mind:

The survey solicited members of the general public through placement on our corporate website and social media promotion, and current MCS clients through direct email. More than half of the respondents identified themselves as representing a law firm. Some figures are rounded to better represent the data in this infographic report.
